The Opportunity

As a vital member of our pre-construction team, you will be the backbone of our project accuracy. You will take ownership of the estimating process for a variety of projects, ensuring our builds are successful, profitable, and delivered to our exacting quality standards from the ground up.

What You'll Be Doing

• Plan Interpretation: Accurately reading and interpreting building plans to create detailed material and labour estimates.

• Cost Control & Management: Developing and maintaining local Price Books and identifying potential cost variations to mitigate risks early.

• The "Middle Man": Seamlessly coordinating with local suppliers, subcontractors, and our internal management team to ensure clear communication and smooth workflows.

• Software Management: Using our specialised Construction Systems to manage project budgets and schedules with precision.

• Project Success: Ensuring every estimate is accurate, competitive, and sets the stage for a project delivered on time and within budget.

What You'll Bring

• Relevant Experience: Ideally 3-5+ years in the construction industry (Residential and/or Commercial).

• Trade Background (Optional): We welcome carpenters or construction professionals ready to "get off the tools" and move into a professional office environment.

• Eagle Eye for Detail: A "measure twice, cut once" mindset with a high level of accuracy in every calculation.

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

• Tech-Savvy: Proficient with computers, spreadsheets, and a hunger to master new project management and estimating software.
